Next practices:
Weds 7/27 (still at 6:30 due to the heat) & Sun 7/31 at 6:30.
I know I keep saying this, but I will have a workout schedule soon. Send REE any dates you will be out of town.
The most we will be practicing is 4 times a week is looks like (Sun through Weds nights). We all need to be doing some serious steady state (half on the erg) on our own and getting in weights once a week too. I have scheduled in some land practices (one of the four practices a week) for the first month - but we should all be working out outside of these practices too.
No doubt the Hooch Pirates are a priority for everyone (if not, ye have to walk the plank), but once we get the schedule fixed and agreed upon - there shouldn't be much reason to miss practice besides what is on the schedule. Seriously, we had too many subs last year and we don't need to have that again. This is for fun, but you never know who we might have to race, and we need to be prepared;)
Keep an eye on your weights, and we'll discuss them in a few weeks. I have no doubt that we will be fine and noone will lose any more than 5 pounds (which we'll do just from working out more!). Just know where you are at so when we discuss it we can set target weights.
